About Jean Grae The rapper, Jean Grae was born on November 26, 1976, in Cape Town, South Africa.Grae was brought up by his parents, Abdullah Ibrahim and Sathima Bea Benjamin. Her parents were Jazz musicians in South Africa and they were located in New York City when Grae was born.Jean Grae was born Tsidi Ibrahim and she studied at Fiorello H.
