About George Lazenby George Robert Lazenby is an Australian actor born in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia, on September 5, 1939.Post his stint in the Australian Army, Lazenby shifted base to London in the mid-’60s. In London, he tried his hand as a used car salesman and an auto mechanic before becoming a model.As his modeling career took off, he decided to become an actor.
