Daniel Silva is famously known for being an American author and has written over 21 spy novels.Famously known as ‘Ink Master,’ Daniel Silva was born on December 19, 1960. His Portuguese-American parents were teachers, and his family moved to California when he was seven. Later, he attended California State University and got an opportunity to work with United Press International (UPI) as a journalist in 1984. While working for UPI, Daniel Silva was sent to Cairo, Egypt as their Middle East correspondent. Soon, he returned to Washington and started working for CNN as their executive producer for shows such as ‘Crossfire’ and ‘Capital Gang.’ He left CNN in 1997 when he released his first novel. He is known for introducing characters such as Gabriel Allon and Michael Osbourne. Some of his most famous work includes ‘The English Girl,’ ‘A Death In Vienna,’ ‘The Mark Of The Assassin,’ and ‘The Heist,’ among others. Speaking of his personal life, he married Jamie Gangel in 1988 and lives with her and his twins, Nicholas and Lily.
